Our Recent Vacation
We recently got back from a great week in Destin Florida with Michelle's parents. We really had a great time and Stephen once again had a blast playing shuffleboard! Here are some photos from the trip:

Stephen winds up...
...and the follow through. He really looks like a guy who is ready to retire in Florida. He's quite at home there.
On Tuesday we drove to Pensacola to visit the Naval Air Station there. Here Stephen inspects the inside of an airplane wing on display.
Stephen stands next to a F/A-18 used by the Blue Angels. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can watch the Blue Angels practice. Stephen was blown away by it. Here's a Blue Angel photo I took posted on Lightbox.
Stephen and his grandpa are all harnessed in and ready to go while visiting the Naval Air Museum.
Grandpa, Kathleen and Stephen on the beach one evening after dinner.
Kathleen plays in the fountains at Destin Commons.

Our North Carolina Vacation
We went on vacation to the Raleigh area of North Carolina in the first week of August to visit Michelle's brother Douglas. I'm a little behind in my "post a lot of photos to the website" duties. Here's a sampling of the trip:

Michelle, Kathleen, Stephen and Uncle Doug at the Duke Gardens.

Same as previous picture, but with me this time filling in for Uncle Doug.

Kathleen and Stephen relax near the fountain in front of the Duke Garden visitor center.
Kathleen calls her lawyer about all these photos I'm taking of her while playing at a really cool place in Raleigh called Playspace.
Stephen and Kathleen in a castle area at the Playspace.
Kathleen does some grocery shopping in the Playspace's grocery play area.

Uncle Doug, Michelle and Kathleen at the Duke University Primate Center. This is a really cool space and if you're in the Durham area and can arrange it, it's worth the time to visit.
During August I also posted a lot of photos from North Carolina on my Lightbox photoblog, here's the August archive.
