May the 4th Be With You
Stephen is 4, I can't believe it. We had a great party in Louisville right after Christmas and will be posting more photos soon. For now, enjoy the cake.
(p.s. The picture above is of the cake right before it was served, after we had removed Uncle Doug's vintage Star Wars figures. You can just make out where their feet were.)

The Official 2005 Smart Family Tree
Every year, Michelle and I try to go to a tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. Last year after we moved to our new house we visited a nice farm near this part of town. However the couple that ran that farm announced they were retiring after many years in the business.
So, this year we hunted around for a new farm. Google led us to the Volunteer Tree Farm near Lebanon and a lovely skotch pine is now standing in our living room.
