Third in a Series
I've started a new project for myself, I believe. On or about February 22nd every year, I'm going to take a picture of Stephen sitting at my computer desk. Why Feb 22nd? I don't know really. I think last year it was pure coincidence that I happened to shoot a photo of Stephen doing the same thing as one year before. So, for whatever reason, I continued the tradition today.
I hope I still have this desk when he's 33!
Just Like His Old Man
It is always fun to see the little habits Stephen picks up from watching us. For instance, Stephen loves to run around the house taking pretend photos with a toy camera.
And I am especially proud of how he now works the angles by taken both horizontal and vertical photos! Just like a real photog.
And since Daddy always reviews his digital photos using the LCD screen on the back of his digital camera, Stephen always glances at the back of his toy camera after taking his photos and says, "oh that's a good one!"
The Pizza of Stephen's Dreams
Here's a funny one...
Last night Stephen woke up around 2:30 in the morning with a shout. I walked into his room expecting to find him awake and asking for a snack. But, he was actually still asleep. I leaned forward and squinted in the darkness and could see that his eyes were still shut.
"Are you ok, honey?" I said softly.
"A pizza Daddy," he said in reply, apparently still dreaming. "I need a big pizza for dinner."
With that I covered him back up with his blanket and he went right back to a full sleep. Hilarious.
New Photo Albums
Since I just recently rebuilt this site and got most of the content back online, I'm having to go to my photo archives and publish some content from last holiday season that got passed over. So, the Christmas and Halloween photo albums have just been published.

Sunny Superbowl Sunday
After spending a week at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Louisville, Stephen was glad to be back on his home turf. The weather suddenly got very warm on Sunday so we were able to spend some time outside.
Stephen is a great helper when doing chores around the house and he loves it when daddy gets out the tall stepladder. I just can't turn around for a second or he will climb right to the top before you know it.
