We're Back

After a few months of down time, smart-family.org is back.

I apologize for the absence. A technology failure was to blame at the beginning of this whole debacle, a failure that also affected stevesmart.com. After assessing the damage and trying to recover some files, the main obstacle to getting the site back online was my time.

Well, I'm happy to report that we're back with most (if not all) of our original content still in place safely housed on a new hosting platform and powered by the very robust Moveable Type. Just a warning, you may run accross some content on this site that doesn't look quite right. I'm sure there are a few quirky things still lurking on this site, but I will try to edit those out in the next several days. For instance, there are some missing photos I need to find and repost.

Also, new to this version of smart-family.org is the ability to post comments. So if you see something you like, feel free to post a comment and tell the world. (just keep in mind that these comments are displayed on the site for anyone to see and are not a private message to us)

Now that the site is repaired, the next thing on my todo list is to set about posting the backlog of information and photos that have accumulated. Things like: Halloween, Christmas, Stephen's 2nd birthday and more.
